The Palestinians' Final Solution For Israel
There were about 35,000 Jews living in Libya in 1948. Today there are none. The United Nations has not spent a dime on Jewish refugees from the Arab countries, while the annual budget for taking care of Palestinian refugees through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency is approaching a half billion dollars a year. Few of the estimated 711,000 Palestinian refugees who fled in 1948 are still alive. Yet, in an exception to the normal definition of who qualifies to be considered a refugee, the United Nations has characterized all of the descendants of these refugees as refugees themselves. This redefinition has swelled the total number of Palestinian refugees to more than 4 million. Rather than be accepted as full citizens by their Arab ‘brothers' in the surrounding Arab states, they live on the UN dole as stage props for the Palestinians' melodramatic narrative of suffering at the hands of the Israelis.
Crewkerne gives Waitrose the thumbs up
PEOPLE in Crewkerne are welcoming the arrival of the new Waitrose store, due to open in the autumn. Reactions to the supermarket giant have been positive, despite building work disrupting the flow of traffic and causing parking shortfalls in the town centre. Work on the South Street development got underway in October and has resulted in a complete overhaul of the area, with traffic restrictions put in place and a change to town centre parking facilities. A temporary pay and display car park has been set up in Henhayes Recreation Ground to replace the South Street car park that has been closed to make way for contractors. But the mood of the townspeople remains upbeat. Ken and Barbara Hutton of Crewkerne said: "We have been shopping in Waitrose for the past seven years and think it will be very good for the town.
Board members dismissed from KMBH
HARLINGEN — Three members of the KMBH-TV board of directors were dismissed in August without explanation. Their dismissal reduced the board from its original seven members to four, one less than required by the station’s original articles of incorporation. Bishop Raymundo Pea referred all questions to the station’s lawyer about the directors’ dismissals and when new directors will be named, according to Brenda Nettles Riojas, diocesan relations director. The original articles of incorporation state the KMBH board must have at least five members, one of whom is elected its chairman. The Valley Morning Star submitted 14 questions to Pea on Tuesday, seeking information about KMBH’s finances and operations of the Rio Grande Valley’s Public Broadcasting Service affiliate.
Tests results still pending in Hickman case
The crawl space was connected to a common laundry room. Huntington Police Chief Skip Holbrook said his department is still waiting on a series of laboratory test. He initially hoped to release more information last week, but a delay in obtaining the results postponed any comment. "We have a couple, very preliminary results back and the cause of death, but nothing substantial and nothing worth releasing," he said Monday morning. Holbrook said the department has known Hickman's cause of death for some time, but that information has not been released for fear it would jeopardize the ongoing investigation. Detectives have not described the pending laboratory tests, named a suspect or ruled out any family or friends. .
Mr. Weissman is a slum lord and he ought to be exposed for the ...
I live in a Lynd-managed and Lynd-owned (under a different name, same address) apartment complex in another state. I'd rather not say which. They (Lynd) seem to have a habit of treating their residents like this, and putting managers in place that do the same. Aside from the manager here, the other employees are treated badly. The manager here is a narcissistic control-freak. We aren't allowed to have a resident's-rights group, she must approve of our visitors, we must have our housekeeping up to her standards, we may not call the police even for DV, etc.. Otherwise, evictions happen. I've fought through three eviction attempts successfully, but no one else will, because the manager calls CYS to threaten our kids and throws out everything in our storage areas if we bother to fight the eviction.

Take me to your leader: Bengals need a Cincinnati Kid
I mean if he said, “Yeah we need a guy in the luxury box who knows a thing or two about football," how long do you think he'd keep his job? There are rumors that Lewis has told people close to him he'd love to have a partner in the front office. Profootballtalk.com reported earlier this year that Lewis was pushing for Brown to hire a general manager. I'm sure Lewis feels like the poor character on the team could be corrected with someone holding a full-time position, rather than Brown and Lewis scrambling to make to decisions in the offseason. Situations where one person holds both the head coach and general manager titles rarely succeed. Mike Holmgren surrendered his front office responsibilities in 2002 and the Seahawks made it to the Super Bowl soon afterwards.
